About Us

Our goal is to utilize innovative technology to bring details, rolling stock, and other model railroad related items to the market. We focus on items that are not readily available or not likely to be produced by the bigger model companies.

HOW WE GOT STARTED

A few years ago, we started with one 3D printer to supplement our own personal modeling projects. Interest in my 3D printing grew, leading to custom printing and even production printing for other model railroading businesses. We launched MP Scale Models to bring our own products to the model railroading community.

MODEL RAILROADER

Having grown up in a railroading family, it is in our blood. My modeling is inspired from my child hood memories with my Dad who was an Southern Pacific engineer. Our current layout is focused on a proto-freelance industrial park in Northwest Houston, TX served by the SP in the early 1990's.

FAMILY BUSINESS

Founded by a husband and wife team, we are a family affair! With that being said, this is not a full-time business and we ask for your patience. We try to respond and ship in a timely manner.
